Read about How Puzzle Libraries Work for an overview, but here are a few other questions that have come up:
What does a Librarian have to do?: When you create a library, I will send you a package of materials to help you get started. It includes some PuzLib labels for puzzles, a printed banner to identify your library, and other helpful information.
As a Librarian, you will provide a place to store puzzles that others can access, and spread the word that it's open. You will be able to view all the puzzles and people in your library. People will contact you with questions through email. You can ask PuzLib Support for help at any time.
Can I join more than one Puzzle Library?: Each account can only belong to one library. The interface would be quite complicated with multiple libraries in multiple locations. But, you can create multiple user accounts using different email addresses if you want to access more libraries, kind of like needing a library card for each library.
How do I get a puzzle back if I no longer want to share it?: When you contribute puzzles to a library, you should expect them to wear out, lose pieces, or get lost.
In other words, you are giving away your puzzles. But, you can retrieve one this way...
Can I move from one library to another?: Yes, follow the steps to get your puzzles back above. After your user account is deactivated and you have all your puzzles back, you can try to log on using your deactivated user account. At that point, you will be prompted to stay with your old library, join a new library, or start your own library.
Can I leave a library and start my own new one?: Yes, follow the steps to get your puzzles back above. After your user account is deactivated and you have all your puzzles back, you can try to log on using your deactivated user account. At that point, you will be prompted to stay with your old library, join a new library, or start your own library.
